Über dieses Seminar

This course is based on the article “The Foundations of Channel Theory” printed in the Journal of Chinese Medicine in September 2012 (issue 100).

Discover the breadth of Traditional Chinese Medicine, beyond point descriptions and Zang Fu Theory. Your curiosity has been stimulated by Dr Tan’s Balance Method: learn about the mathematical approach and logical understanding to help you create systematic treatments, obtain rewarding results and improve your clinical outcomes.

  • Understand the make-up of the meridian system and how it is put together
  • Learn to diagnose using the meridians
  • Understand the use and application of mirroring and imaging
  • Treat any type of pain distally with immediate feedback on the efficacy of the treatment
  • Understand the real reason behind the function of the point and know that there is no empirical reason for why a point functions

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to

  • Assess pain, orthopaedic conditions and physical complaints using meridian theory and devise an appropriate treatment plan
  • Understand classical empirical point indications in a logical non-empirical way.
  • Gain a different understanding of point descriptions by placing the focus on channel theory and understanding meridians
