Shen-Hammer Pulse System with Claus Sorenson

In this seminar, participants learn how feeling someone's pulse can help access information about pathological processes before they have an opportunity to manifest as debilitating symptoms.

Weekend 1: Introduction

• placement of the fingers
• the three depths and pulse waves
• most common pulse qualities
• Dr. Shen's System Model and the Six Channels/Liu Jing

Weekend 2: Individual Pulse Qualities

• individual positions
• the correlations between the entire pulse and the organism
• the correlations between the individual positions, the organs, and areas of the body
• practical training with patient

Weekend 3: Patient Training

• feeling pulse pictures under supervision
• distinguishing pulses
• improving pulse feeling skill

The teaching during this seminar is a mix of theory and practice. The practical part includes personal supervision of each student.
