Videobotschaft zum Kurs von Jason Robertson

This three-day class will include a one-day introduction to channel palpation and diagnosis followed by a two-day advanced seminar on clinical application. For the first day, students unfamiliar with the diagnostic style of Beijing professor Wang Ju-yi (王居易) will be introduced to Dr. Wang's conception of six-level channel physiology and his palpation techniques. The second and third days will build upon that foundation with discussions of common clinical patterns and live demonstration of patient treatments. The goal will be to show students how they might more effectively combine palpation with classical physiological models. In so doing, practitioners will develop strategies for re-evaluating difficult cases, improving rates of recovery and opening up areas for innovation.

Major subjects will include:

  • Introduction to Applied Channel Theory (day one)
  • Strategies for linking what we know to what we feel- moving beyond intellectual acupuncture
  • Development of a style of clinical reasoning that remains true to classical models
  • Live discussions of treatment in action- putting it all together
  • Discussion of strategies for conceptualizing and treating commonly-seen patterns in modern practice
